EDITORIAL

Dear Readers,

We offer you in this issue of the electronic journal Computer Graphics and Geometry five best papers of the Spring Conference on Computer Graphics 2007 held in April 2007 in Budmerice, Slovakia (http://www.sccg.sk/) with Prof. Mateu Sbert, Univ. of Girona, Spain as a head of the SCCG International Program Committee.

The papers are best in various directions. There are those selected according to the votes of the SCCG2007 participants directly at the conference (SCCG2007 Best Presentation Award), those selected by a committee at the conference (SCCG2007 Best Paper Award) and two of the papers were selected due to the highest score in the review process before the conference. The papers were extended by the authors to include more recent results when comparing with those published in the Proceedings of SCCG2007.

This collection of papers shows not only excellent research results and the plenty of topics covered at the conference. The wide range of universities and research institutes shows us as well that the conference is truly a world international event.

I hope it is a good source of a new knowledge for you and the thanks belongs to all people contributing to the success of the event.
