EDITORIAL
Dear readers,
Now it occurs practically
alternativeless application of computer technologies in architectural
designing. It is certainly justified in its
"routine" part, but is not always indisputable in a
"creative" part (especially in educational
process). I believe, that the
discussion on this problem is expedient and useful.
The architectural space
is unique object of research. Its modeling during
designing assumes the application of all possible representational methods and
means. However in a view of features "of the working
persons" – the architects, which are inclined to "idolization"
of computer technologies (and not always understand objective restrictions of
these technologies in creative processes), the attentive and
skilled approach of the wide circle of
persons (architects, psychologists, engineers on computer technologies, etc.)
is required for definition of the really reasonable applications borders of the
modern computer technologies. First of all it concerns the
process of training in architectural educational institutions.
The papers published
below are connected not always directly to local program - technical problems
of the computer graphics. Their overall objective is - to expand considerably
an outlook of the readers on the mentioned problem and to create a basis for
the subsequent discussion.
