| Abstract: |
The problem of real-time photorealistic imaging is discussed. New techniques for specifying freeforms without their approximation by polygons or patches are considered. A recursive algorithm for object space division with masking of invisible surfaces and an effective technique of projective transformation for perspective imaging are proposed. The possibility to visualize 3-D scalar data arrays is shown. Examples of images obtained by modeling the work of the algorithm with different ways of defining the objects are presented. |
